La préparation est presque terminée. Mon voyage à vélo devrait commencer autour de mi-juin 2009. Pour la mise en jambes : le tour de Corse, puis le ferry jusqu'à Nice, traversée des Alpes jusqu'à Genève, puis Alsace-Lorraine, Ardennes, la Belgique, Pays Bas, ferry jusqu'en Angleterre, encore un ferry jusqu'en Irlande. Puis le tour de l'île.

Voulez savoir le but ? Le pourquoi ? Simple - parce que l'aventure, l'imprévue, les rencontres, le partage, le bon, le mauvais, l'équilibre - la vie quoi !
Je pensais faire un tour de Corse, une traversée des Alpes, un tour d'Irlande...
L'année dernière, lors de mon séjour au Pays Bas j'ai vu la lumière (peut-être inspiré par l'armée des cyclistes - va savoir..): "Pourquoi ne pas joindre tout ça en un grand voyage ?" L'idée est née : Tour de vélo ; Corse - Irlande. Ce n'est pas une compétition ! J'aurais le temps de m'arrêter, prendre des photos, parler..

I am almost done with the preparation. My cycling tour should start by the mid-June 2009 with complete tour of Corsica. Next step is a ferry to Nice. Then cycling through the Alps to Geneva, then all the way through Alsace-Lorraine, Ardennes, Belgium to Netherlands. There I will take a ferry to England. Cycling to the western coast and yet another ferry to Ireland. Finally I plan to make complete tour of Irleland. Well, that's the plan

I have been thinking about cycling around Ireland and cycling through the Alps and cycling around Corsica. Last year the idea suddenly struck me : "Why not to put all this up together and make one big journey ?" Here it is : Corsica to Ireland cycling tour. This is not a competition ! Przygotowania prawie zakonczone. Jezeli wszystko pojdzie zgodnie z planem to startuje w polowie czerwca 2009. Podroz obejmie tour Korsyki, prom do Nicei, przez Alpy do Genewy, nastepnie Alzacje-Lotaryngie, Ardeny, Belgie, Holandie, kolejny prom, Anglie, znowu prom i wreszcie, objechanie Irlandii. Chcesz zapytac dlaczego ? Powody (bo jest kilka) sa proste : przygoda, nowe twarze, nowe miejsca, wymiana, dobro, zlo.. w sumie.. ZYCIE
Juz od jakiegos czasu myslalem nad objechaniem Korsyki, przejazdem przez Alpy, objechaniem Irlandii.. W zeszlym roku doznalem "olsnienia" : "Dlaczego by tego wszystkiego nie polaczyc w wieksza podroz ?" Narodzil sie koncept Korsyka - Irlandia na rowerze. Zadne wyscigi ! Znajde czas na fotografie, rozmowy..

Eindelijk ben ik bijna klaar met de voorbereiding voor mijn fietstour. Mijn fietstour
start medio juni 2009. De tour bestaat uit een complete tour door Corsica. Daarna neem ik de ferry naar Nice, door de Alpen naar Genève. Vervolgens vervolg ik mijn tour door Elzas Lorraine, de Ardennen, België, Nederland om vervolgens de ferry naar Engeland te nemen. Daar zal ik mijn tocht vervolgen naar Ierland. Dat is het plan. 
Wil je weten waarom ik het doe? Simpel, het avontuur, het onverwachte, het ontdekken van nieuwe plekken, het ontmoeten van nieuwe contacten en het vinden van de juiste balans in het leven. 
Ik heb er over nagedacht om door Ierland heen te fietsen, door de Alpen heen te fietsen en Corsica rond te fietsen. Afgelopen jaar heb ik besloten dat ik alle plekken ga aandoen in één lange fietstour dat van Corsica naar Ierland zal plaatsvinden. Het is absoluut geen wedstrijd omdat ik de tijd zal nemen om tussendoor te stoppen, om met mensen te praten en tussendoor foto’s zal nemen. Ik wil mensen uitnodigen om deel te nemen aan een deel van deze fietstour of een paar uur met mij mee te fietsen.
